Who We Work With

We work with a range of health and social care partners to deliver healthcare across Oxfordshire. Collaborative working, shared decision making and jointly (as well as locally) defined priorities are crucial in our bid to make the best use of available resources.

The Health and Wellbeing Board

The Health and Wellbeing Board (H&WB) is the principal structure responsible for improving the health and wellbeing of the people of Oxfordshire. The Board is chaired by the leader of Oxfordshire County Council and is vice-chaired by the lead GP of Oxfordshire’s Clinical Commissioning Group.

It is a partnership between Local Government, the NHS and the people of Oxfordshire, and board members include local GPs, senior Councillors, Healthwatch Oxfordshire and senior officers from Local Government. They work together to meet people’s health and social care needs and to ensure efficient use of resources to meet a set of identified priorities.

The Oxfordshire Wellbeing Network brings together local organisations – whatever their community of interest.

It will ensure the H&WB listens to and involves organisations and communities not currently represented on the Board and takes into account their voices when developing the county's integrated health and care system for the future.
